An abandoned house in France with a huge carved fireplace and wood-clad ceilings that has been left to decay for some time.
Château des Chimères is an abandoned house in France. Some of the house is suffering a fair bit of decay while other areas remain in good condition. The main feature is a room with a huge fireplace that stretches all the way to the wood-clad ceiling. A spiral staircase rises through the centre of the home. It would appear the house has been abandoned for quite a while.
Your work is incredible. I especially love the houses and mansions, and the ‘Arts & Crafts’ detailing in this place is so beautiful. I’m currently working on some pieces of writing along themes of nostalgia, romance and decay, and your site is proving a fertile feeding ground of inspiration, so thank you!
Your photos looks like a paintings.
