History of Hotel Thermale

Hotel Thermale, or Hotel Des Thermes as it’s sometimes known is an abandoned hotel in France that provided “healing baths”. The hotel was very popular, especially with the older population and people with disabilities, as the hot mineral water provided by local springs was believed to have curing properties. It was not uncommon to see wheelchairs lined up by the side of the baths while nurses helped the most disabled to bath.
