Italy Derelict

The decaying Palazzo di L. dei Conti M. has some grand and ornate rooms now falling into a state disrepair. The grandeur of the palace shines through, however. Almost every room features an impressive plaster or painted ceiling and the central staircase is a sight to behold.

A chapel within the grounds, separated by a small courtyard from the main building features yet another amazing ceiling and grand altar.

,,another shame, what a waste. if these people can’t maintain them, why not just sell them,, all that work, archtcture, and the ceilings,, too bad they may all be lost,, by the evident water damamge on almost all the ceilings, a few good rains, and they will be on the the floor, tho some of those look to have been ripped up as well,, sad,,, but as always,, amazing photos,,,
