Chateau Lumiere is a stunning abandoned house in France. The open balcony-style landing allows light from the central skylight to flood through the entire building.
History
Château Lumiere was the family home of a wealthy tobacco tycoon of Swiss decent. The stunning chateau hidden away in a quiet town in France was built in a Neo-Baroque style in the early 1900s.
The house was used for business purposes after the owner left the town in the 1950’s. The chateau has been sold numerous times, however has stood empty since then. Considering how long the house has been unused it is in amazingly good condition.
