A framed print of an archaic operating theatre in an abandoned Italian Manicomio or asylum. The psychiatric hospital was used to treat the mentally ill, and electroshock therapy was used extensively here, along with experimental operations on the nervous system.
This print is available with a selection of different frames. Overall print size is 20x30cm (approx A4).
All images are produced as C-Type photographic prints. C-Type printing, also known as Silver Halide printing is the traditional way to produce photographs – a 100 year old dark room technology using light-sensitive paper and silver based chemistry.
The prints are on Fuji Crystal Archive Professional Gloss paper for a vivid, glossy finish which accentuates the colour to give a punchy, rich feel, with 100 years archival protection.
