Hospital of Wheelchairs History
Krankenhaus von Rollstühlen, the hospital of wheelchairs is a small abandoned hospital in Germany. Functioning more like a care home, the hospital cared for the sick and elderly towards the end of their life.
Set in a wooded area, the peaceful surroundings were an ideal setting to provide the excellent standards of care offered. However, being set across several floors and with a raised entranceway into the first floor, access was always difficult. The hospital was closed by the authorities after a patient in a wheelchair tumbled down the concrete steps, falling to her death.

,, some truly amazing photos here,, this structure, doesn’t look that far gone, and the woodwork is something,, is there a plan to save this building, or will it just go to ruin? Being German, I know we love to save these old places, if possible, and re-use them if appropriate.
Love this man, wicked atmosphere about it. Awesome shots as always!
Lovely Set Andy.
