Mont G is an abandoned monastery in Belgium. The beautiful building was built around 1900 and closed about 10 years ago, however you wouldn’t know it to look at the place. The chapel is in pristine condition, and the rest of the buildings have minimal decay. The buildings were used as a ‘reflection home’ from the 1960s.
The majority of the rooms are off a set of four corridors arranged in a square, creating a nice courtyard in the middle. The buildings are due to be developed into apartments for the elderly.
This was the first visit of the third day of out “Missing Man Tour” around Europe, along with Kriegaffe9 and Proj3ct M4yh3m. This was high on our list and we had great expectation for this place. It didn’t disappoint! The chapel was amazing, no signs of damage or decay, and was simple breath-taking.
