History
Mont G is an abandoned monastery in Belgium. The beautiful building was built around 1900 and closed about 10 years ago, however you wouldn’t know it to look at the place. The chapel is in pristine condition, and the rest of the buildings have minimal decay. The buildings were used as a ‘reflection home’ from the 1960s.
The majority of the rooms are off a set of four corridors arranged in a square, creating a nice courtyard in the middle. The buildings are due to be developed into apartments for the elderly.

You are so lucky to be able to go to these places, explore, and take pictures. Thank you for sharing.
It takes a lot of effort but it’s worth it! Thank you for looking.
It would be a total joy for me to go to these places. But, if the only way I can go is through pictures like these… I’m glad you take such nice ones and make the effort to include the really neat parts. Thanks.
What is the status of the place now? cause I found something in the paper that it should be back a nursing home now..
I heard there were plans to convert it to a nursing home, but as far as I’m that hasn’t happened yet.
