Opening in the late 1890s the Palace Theatre in Plymouth was lavishly decorated. It was last used as the popular Dance Academy nightclub before being closed in 2006.
The Theatre Royal in Hyde opened in 1902 and was later converted for use as a cinema. It closed in 1993 and has stood disused ever since.
The Futurist Theatre in Scarborough was built in 1921 and was expanded and remodelled over the years until its closure in 2014.
