S.M. is a steel works in Belgium that has only recently closed. In contrast to other steel works I have visited, SM was very clean and tidy. There was lots of equipment still running around the site, computers still turned on in the control rooms displaying the status of various processes on multiple screens – the place looks like workers could walk in and start making steal at any time.
