Chatterley Whitfield is a disused colliery near Stoke on Trent which was later used a mining museum. The museum closed in 1993.

T. G. Green’s produced the Cornishware range of kitchenware at their Pottery in Derbyshire. The striped design is still produced today but the original factory closed in 2007.
The Royal Hospital Haslar was the largest hospital in England. It had a long and distinguished history serving military personnel, and later civilians. The site closed in 2009.
