Château de la Chapelle, Belgium

Château de la Chapelle is an abandoned mansion in Belgium with an integral chapel. The house appears to have been used as a function venue before its closure.

Chateau de la Chapelle, Belgium

Château de la Chapelle is an abandoned house in Belgium. The entire house is lovely and to a very high standard, but the main feature is an amazing chapel. It’s very unusual to find a chapel built as part of a house so it was fascinating to explore.

It would appear the house has been used as wedding venue, owing to the large number of chairs and tables, and the chapel!

An enjoyable visit in the company of Proj3ct M4yh3m and Darbians as part of the Grand Designs Tour. Access was an interesting affair, the property sits on land surrounded by a moat – amazingly we somehow managed to stay dry!
